I just learned a few weeks ago that it's basically always in a fluid state, and that the oldest glass panes in churches in Europe are apparantly noticably thicker at the bottom than the top, due to it flowing down over the years, ever so slowly.

A buddy of mine in university was really into stained glass. And if I mention his portrait of Eddie Van Halen that he did in glass, some of you may even know who I'm talking about :-)

Re: Glass is cool

Kris has been doing stained glass for about 6 years. She won't have much time for it now with the baby, so if you need to borrow some tools/supplies, let me know.

Re: Glass is cool

Hey, this is a very cool development. Hobbies are good.

My inner geek is telling me that you could make funky stained-glass renderings of posterized digital images.

Or, you could just make a nice art nouveau lampshade.
-Rob
