Though a friend just told me that President's Choice sells a burr grinder for 30 bucks. He says it's way better than a rotary blade, but still a far cry from the Kitchen Aid. But for the price I think it will be my first step in that direction. The cheapest place for green beans locally is Aladdin <a href="http://www.coffee.ca/english/home.htm" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" title="http://www.coffee.ca/english/home.htm">http://www.coffee.ca/englis...</a>. And you don't need no fancy, expensive roaster. You can get pretty amazing results with a hot air corn popper of all things! Just be sure to get one with the louvred heating system, not the screen. Just look down into the chamber and you'll immediately see the difference.
